If we slowed down for long enough, I’m scared of what I might see on the other side, but I like to believe that deep down we’d see enough of ourselves in each other that maybe for a moment we’d all feel held.
— Beet, 10 Stops East 2023

"10 Stops East" serves as a heartfelt tribute to all those who have embraced the art of slowing down and fostering connections with those around them.

ABOUT THE SHOW
Step into the world of "Beet and Abe," a gripping tale of survival and resilience. These two outsiders find solace in the public library after facing eviction. But as they grapple with existential questions and fight for their right to exist, a chilling dilemma looms: stay and face the bitter cold or risk it all for a chance at warmth and hope elsewhere. Join these two buoffons on a journey of heart-wrenching decisions and harsh realities, where finding a place to belong is a struggle against the odds.

Production History
"10 Stops East" premiered in its workshop stage at Victoria School of the Performing Arts in 2023, made possible through the generous support of Thou Art Here Theatre and Beth Graham, who provided invaluable mentorship throughout the process. This production owes its existence to the dedicated team who worked tirelessly to bring it to life, and for that, I extend my heartfelt gratitude to each of them.
