ABOUT THE SHOW
It’s been 10 years since the students of Fairfield High walked the school corridors together. Regardless of their extreme differences, they all have one thing in common, or rather one person: Katie. Her sudden, tragic death gathers them together in one small room. Former classmates, a former geography teacher, a current humanist, and an odd guest that no one can pinpoint any personal connections to, all join together for an evening that ends in a major confession that no one saw coming.

Production History
The Funeral is a newly devised dark comedy, put on by Treasure Chest Theatre. It made its debut in Hong Kong on December 15th, 2019. A crew of 9 actors and their director set off to capture that kind of off feeling that tends to linger around at funerals. Using the Meisner technique we crafted unique characters that are bound to make you go “Oh, I’ve met that person before”.
The Funeral is a dark comedy with dance, color, and lip-syncs.
