ABOUT THE SHOW
Widowed Theodore has found comfort and security in his daily routine. Newspaper. Birds. Tea. Contentment. Today the universe has other plans for Theodore. When a tornado hits and sweeps away his most cherished memory, the dress of his deceased beloved, Theodore sets off on a grand adventure to retrieve it and bring her back home.
Production History
AFTERNOON TEA is an original full-face mask show. Merging the worlds of mask, storytelling, and sound design, the show aims to explore themes of love and acceptance, while offering a reflection on some tough questions we encounter as we grow older. The piece premiered as part of the 2019 Copenhagen Theatre Circle Fringe Festival.
