Hidden Harbour
A test theatre event set in Sydhavnen’s harbor using audiences from the Kulturhavn Festival to try tools and strategies for creating interactive and immersive theatrical works in an urban location. Short scenes were devised in collaboration with local people from the area. Actors tested different techniques for creating interactive moments with the audience that put them at the heart of the piece.

Step into the vibrant world of Hidden Harbour, where six captivating narratives intertwine to paint a vivid portrait of life on the waterfront. From a couple at a crossroads to a devoted father, a girl about to miss her boat, and a daughter’s goldfish funeral, each storyline brims with heart and humanity. Audiences join on a track, following along as the characters navigate the bustling harbor, immersing themselves in the lives of its diverse inhabitants.
Production History
The show premiered at Kulturhavn in 2021 and underwent a workshop and development residency in 2022.
